Warren Rosser

Warren Rosser is originally from Wales and now based in Kansas City.

He worked at Matfield Outpost in October 2014. His prints and paintings can be viewed at Haw Contemporary in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.

During his residency at Matfield Outpost, Warren Rosser focused on drawings, writings and experiencing the transitional spaces in nature that are unique to the Flint Hills region.

In early 2015, Warren Rosser focused on making prints in his Kansas City studio that were influenced by the early morning and early evening light and shadows he experienced in the Flint Hills. Color at those times of day had a unique resonance, which he captured in his prints.
